After the invention of tiles, residential houses and other establishments have started to look stunning as there has been distinctive differentiation in their presentation. The old structures looked rather grumpy and the flooring either had wooden panels to protect the inhabitants from extreme cold or had concrete surface giving out a monotonous look. Till recently, the tiles were handmade and each of the blocks was designed piece by piece. These tiles were made out of porcelain, limestone or marble. But how were they fixed on a surface? A tile clip is something which holds the blocks in place and is extensively used in the recent times.
In the recent time, tiles have become an integrated component of a house. These can be in porcelain, ceramic, marble, granite, limestone or synthetic and the price range varies based on the quality. Natural as well as the synthetic tiles are now manufactured by machines which have accelerated the process of production. The natural tiles are cut from huge mountains and are brought to the plant for further processing. The natural tiles are cut into desired shapes and sizes and polished to get the perfect finish. During the process, close inspection is carried out to look out for any kind of faults and blemishes as a small hairline crack in between a panel can be the cause of breaking of the tiles at a later stage.
For the synthetic tiles, however, the process requires some more steps including mixing and creating dice to make different patterns. The whole process takes place in a plant where colour tones are given to individual tiles. The best part of synthetic tiles is that identical tiles can be obtained without a doubt and it can be worked with in any situation and doesn’t break easily.
